Advice for modifying S.C. setup.
Sup guys! Right now I'm running the V3 Si A&A setup. I dynoed at 546whp with a 93 tune. At 5.14 lbs with a 3.8 pulley. That is at 5280 feet in elevation in Colorado. On a stock Z51 with NPP.
Looking to modify my setup and go to a 3.46 pulley to increase psi and 100% meth.
Can I expect to be at 650 to 700 whp with that setup?

I don't see that number at all with above mods. Maybe 625 at most even with that 3.4 pulley & 100% meth. But would try to get a GOOD tuner with I was going to try to push that number from the car with those mods. Robert

I'm very surprised at only 625ish Because I have seen ppl at almost at 590HP my with setup and no meth on pump gas. Just a bit more of an aggressive tune. I say 650 would be a ultimate sweet spot since the SC I have now maxes out at 650 hp

A good rule of thumb is that if the temp/humidity/barometric pressure are all "normal", you lose 3% power per 1,000 ft above sea level. So at about 5,000 ft, you lose about 15% power. With the mods I mentioned earlier, assuming 640-650hp at sea level, you'd end up with about 550hp at 5,000 ft elevation. If someone shows you higher numbers with that same scenario, then they either have "corrected" numbers, or, they were on a "happy dyno".

If you want a true 650 at your elevation, you'll need to register about 750 on the dyno up there. Your car stock will lose about 30% of the advertised 465 hp. 15% for your elevation, and 15% drivetrain loss. That puts your stock output around 325 rwhp. The 546 being "corrected" means your blower increased your HP about 140hp putting you around 465 actual HP. (It already accounts for drivetrain loss since its rwhp). This number is then "corrected" by adding in an additional 15% of inflated numbers for elevation correction.

I'm not familiar with headers on these cars. I've seen them go from $400 to over $1k. Is there a specific one I need?

Recommendation is American Racing Headers in the size of 1 7/8" primaries with the X pipe having NO cat converters (thats the BEST option), or you can look at TSP headers. ARH is about $2,000 new. You can find them for about $1500 used. not sure what you found for $400 but they are junk. Real headers for a C7 START no cheaper than about $800-$900.
