A&A Intercooler? High IAT’s?
I haven’t seen too many documented A&A kits making 850-1000whp, mostly everything’s Procharger so I’m seeing what’s the deal. What kinda power level can u push the stock A&A intercooler without sky high or ungodly IAT’s down here in Texas, street/roll racing only!

I make 940rwhp and have gone 9.1@151 with my A&A. IAT's get pretty high even with a dual nozzle. Going air to water this winter.

Our ram air intercooler was designed around a Ysi headunit which usually makes 1,000rwhp when maxed out.
I know shops making the big power with our C7 Ysi kit include:
RMCR
Champion Motors (Canada)
CBI Streetcars
Cordes Performance
Houston House of Power
LS Series Performance (Bahrain)
Boost Performance
Davenport Motorsports (Canada)
Complete Street Performance
Cunningham Motorsports
LSX Motorsports (Dubai)
Lashway Motorsports
And there are some individuals builds out there as well.
The crazy thing is how 1,000 rwhp has become "common expectation" now a days. And sometimes a maxed out Ysi is still not enough for shops and individuals. That's one reason why Vortech has been working with Andy to develop a big brother to the Ysi so we can make the big 1200-1400 rwhp numbers.
Feel free to give us a call and discuss options for adding boost on your C7.

I run the Novi2200X (which is the billet YSI) and ECS's base kit intercooler and I see some high IATs on the big end of the track but the meth is able to keep it in check. Nothing crazy high. 140-150s at the stripe.

Street A&A YSi kit on this A8 C7 with A2A intercooler. 100% E85 touch over 900 rwhp, As others have stated, IAT's do climb a bit, which is to be expected with the size of the intercooler and being A2A.

Production units are still months out, but it's expected to make big power like a Ysi on steroids.

Here is a link to a thread I had started regarding the new blowers coming out. We have a handful of cars waiting for the release for testing, we will post actual track results shortly there after.
