Just installed blower and it runs perfect except on a c7 grand sport
But when I hit high boost I get a puff of smoke - should I install a venting
System some kinda catch can when u know u need them ?

Installed blower? What is high boost? Was it tuned before being driven? Smoke from where?

Don't sound good at all the only place the smoke can come from is the crank case & your PCV so it is smoking from your valve cover plugs & PCV lines . If me I would not be getting into heavy boost until I had stuff checked out. Plus any OIL leaks on the floor Like from the front are rear seals. Robert

I’m guessing you have meth and not running too much timing? Where is the puff of smoke coming from?

12lbs is alot of boost for stock pistons. Without proper venting you will surely blow through the front or rear main seals.

You will also need to vent the Valley cover.

Naw motor is fine. I got greedy with timing and had no venting. Why valley —aren’t valve covers vent then whole block ? The LMR kit only does valve covers

I have the LMR kit on order for my ECS setup on a dry sump. As soon as it gets here I’ll post up all the routing for you. Just have no idea when they will be shipping out so my car is just sitting till they get them back in stock I guess.
