Default Road course

Are there many that are successfully doing track days with a centri set-up? I have a A&A kit ready to install, I originally wasn’t planning on doing many if any track days in the cars but after a little seat time this past weekend I’m considering changing directions. My concerns are obviously heat issues and being limited by that and running out of meth mid session. I’m semi new to the C7 world but know the C5 and C6 both struggled a lot with heat issues on course.

LG Motorsports sells a larger radiator that will bolt right in. LMR has the 170* thermostat and cover that you will also need to install. I don't think you'll run out of meth with a full tank in your ww tank. Main thing is a good install and a correct TUNE.. Good Luck

A lower temp thermostat will do near to nothing for track heat management, your car is already over min operating temp by the first lap. I have a base p1sc kit on my z51 with a horizontal intercooler and track my car 8-10 times a year in Texas heat (no meth but that would help more). Shift at 6000 rpm and your temps will be hot but not overheat. I have z06 grill, heat shield on cat, heat wrap on exhaust by transmission. The car won't go into limp mode but you can't redline it too often.

I can go pretty hard. Here's a few videos ranging for 70 to close to 100 ambient. With that being said, I may still get a custom oil cooler fabbed up. That would be the biggest bang for your buck.
