Default Mighty Mouse catch can install question

Just got my Might Mouse Wild catch can. I see in the directions the “IN” on the can comes from the nipple on the front of the drivers valve cover. Then if I’m following the diagram correctly the “EXIT” on the can goes to the nipple on my E force just behind the throttle body. I’m just curious what I do with the original PCV nipple in the valley?

I believe I just have to cap it off OR should I run from the nipple in the valley to the intake ducting infront of the throttle body?

According to the diagram it suggests that on a boosted vehicle such as yours it should go to the intake duct before the throttle body.

That is how I have mine set up but I am running a A/A TI head unit & not a top mount blower. Some of these blowers have a small diffs in them that make them do better than the other set up in a blower.. Just didnt want to tell him wrong but what it should be..Robert

If you have a PD blower then it is different. I was going by the diagram posted which was for a centrifugal. If you have a PD then follow this setup.

Did you finish the install? How about a couple of after photos and how did you decide to mount the can? Thanks.

I ran mine was the wild kit. when I was around 680 whp on a mustang dyno their mild setup (pvc adapter to inlet of can then outlet to throttle body) was blowing oil through the dry sump into the cold air intake) Now I have mine setup with the wild plumbing. PVC adapter runs to the dry sump vent. top of driver side valve cover goes to inlet of can and outlet goes to throttle body. No oil blow by now and its a clean plumbing setup.

Thanks looks like a good spot. Few more questions on your install.

Did it come with the bracket for the radiator support or is that something you asked for?

Can you confirm what the can in/out ports are going too and what nipples you blocked to finish the install?

The bracket is from MMS it’s for the CTS V / Camaro. I did have to drill a hole in it to work with the C7 radiator mounting points. The large -10 hose is the in to the can coming from the drivers valve cover and the -6(3/8”) exit hose is going to the nipple just behind my throttle body. I capped off the 3/8” nipple in the valley. I bent the bracket assembly a little outward from the radiator to help with a clearance issue with the lower radiator hose and the cans draining nipple. I had to go to the build your own kit section of the site and ordered the parts individually. I couldn’t just order one of his C7 kits because I had to move it’s mounting location due to the E force coolant reservoir. Parts list below of what I ordered. If you don’t need to move the can to the radiator just order one of his C7 kits.

Quick question for you guys running the MMS can. I replaced my front seal and added the PCV Wild MMS can. I just did a little hit and the cars running like a raped ape but after the hit it had the smell of oil. Im assuming that is normal when the can vents crank case pressure to atmosphere?

Does smoke come from MM filter when just idling? I had that problem with the check valve staying open. After inserting the tee, problem solved....

No smoke. You will get an oil smell. It is a vented can so anytime you’re on it now you will get that odor.
