IAT Location
Where is the IAT sensor located on a z51? Is it the sensor that's in the air intake tube right next to the air filter, or is that the MAF?

So is the MAF sensor the one in the intake tube next to the air filter?

This is correct, at least for the IAT reading that affects timing.

Where is IAT1 and where is IAT2 located on base model? What do they have an effect on?
