Assuming that valvetrain stability is achieved and the DOD lifters are replaced, does anyone have any knowledge to what the maximum rpm can be achieved on the SBE making 850 RWHP?
Power to be made with a 2650, port injection, E85, a very small cam and other supporting mods.
BTW- It's a manual trans. I'm evaluating potential 1/4 mile trap speed with respect to RPM and non-EOM gearing. TIA

you could test it and run it out till it gets valve float , stops making power , or throws a rod lol .
you could test it and run it out till it gets valve float (won't be an issue with the correct valve springs), stops making power (the bottom end of my Bolt-On LS7 was perfectly fine at 7500 rpm although it made no power up there), or throws a rod (hence the quandary) lol .
I can only tell you my 2014 C7 on the dyno with 840WHP my RPM was max at 6600. All built top end PRC Heads, Terminate cam package, on E50 and SBE, M7. But not safe to run unless you run race gas all the time. 13PSI on stock bottom end is not going to last. Currently at 760WHP and 9.5PSI all good now.
