IMO
I agree with others...the front is just plain ugly and too dang busy...a little bit of Saturn, Mazda, previous gen Porsche (lights)
BTW C6 (and this drawing) makes the vette look too happy...make it meaner please.
Rear is ok -- why not just make it look like the rear on the Pratt/Miller C6RS <-- very clean btw. Also, the rear backup lights...does it have to be so fricken huge?
Lastly, go back to the C5 rear oval lights...esp if you are going to make this vette wide...wide body looks better with the oval rear lights IMO.
Suggestion for C7 design:
-- the Larry Shinoda C4's were really clean and tasteful
-- as were the early C4 Callaways...
-- all on a C5/6 body of course..
Peace, I'm

I wonder if anyone from G.M. actually reads the comments from this forum? It seems that styling is inconsistent with the hopes of the Corvette Community. I for one think there should be some new innovations taking place. Mid-engine? High horse roadster/targa option? Yes, maybe more 430 Ferrari like to recapture the broader market. Even Ford created a frenzy with the GT. So G.M. you're loosing market share in your home territory, why?

If this is an idea of the direction the car is headed in,I like where
they are going with it.I won't say yea or nay till I've seen the
finished project.Until then,it's all a mystery so-to-speak.

Sounds fishy! "a mid-engine has a place at Cadillac not Chevy/Corvette." That staement alone ought to bring-up doubt. I doubt seriously that GM would consider making 2 different platforms for a performance 2 seater - currently Corvette and SLR Cad share the same platform. Different platforms, one mid-engine the other front engine, I don't think so...
