I dropped by my Chevy dealer last week and the sales manager told me that a rep from Chevy was in a day or so prior and informed him that the C7 introduction is being delayed. he did know know for how long, but a 2013 C7 coming out in 2012 is not going to happen.

And of course your dealer probably then said that he could offer you a great deal on a new 2010 vette since there is at least three years until the next vette comes out right?

Dealers are feeling the crunch that comes along whenever a new vette model is about to be released. Not many of us are willing to go buy a new vette right now because we know that the current ones that are out for the next few years will be old in years. Many of us are waiting until next year to see the spy photos of the C7 before we make our decisions

Dealers will tell you whatever it takes to get you in the seat of a new vette today. 2013 is a pretty big year for corvette, I highly doubt something new will not happen.

No, he did not offer me a good deal on a 2010 Vette since I ordered one back on February 13 and will have it by the end of March.

Honestly, I don't see why people don't like the body from the back. I think it looks awesome all around! By the way, I just joined this site and it's great to find a forum like this this for Corvette enthusiasts. Are there any other sites like this that I should check out?

If the C7 does have a split rear window there is a cure for the people that don't want it. A convertible.

I'll reserve judgement on the design until I actually see the production version.

I agree, except for one thing, the dems took over in 2006, and things began to go downhill right after that!

Haha, exactly, if people don't want a split window then how about none? But I agree with what you said, no need to jump to conclusions about it until it's in production. I think if they do it right and can look pretty sweet.
