The front on the silver version looks pretty sexy. The rear, well, after a few drinks anything looks good I guess?

It's kind of funny, when I read his post I started thinking back through the years (even to 1953) and was actually agreeing that I too couldn't find an era or model that didn't have round tail lights.
But umm, I forgot about the entire 1991 (1990 for ZR1) to 1996 era!
And DUH, I even owned a '95 LT1!
They weren't exactly truly 'square' either, but they certainly weren't what I'd call round.

Too many angles and the departure from "Corvette round" tail lights would not be a welcome change to me.

Good lord I hope they don't go with that Camaro rear end. If it does, who wants to start an aftermarket for the C7 and make some rear ends with round taillights?

Better than a Democratic design where the car would run on electricity and have a 30 mile range with a top speed of 55mph...

Oh well..
I liked the red stingray pics from the 2011 issue alot. I would have possibly traded my 2011 GS in on one..
But the silver one from the 2012 issue ....
I am luke warm on the front..
And the rear is too busy and boy racer for my 38 year old tastes.
The whole car looks very busy to my eyes.
Will wait to see one in person.
But not loving the pics.

Looking at the pics in the thread titled "More Spy Shots" the test mule definitely has quad round taillights so let's keep our fingers crossed they make it to production instead of what's shown in the C&D renderings.
