Definitely doesn't look like a ball of pleather and plastic anymore. If the Italians have worked their magic on it, it is going to be serious competition for GM. Also, note the passenger seat, the way it looks like it would actually hold you in a corner. GM should look into that.
I hope GM doesn't follow the blog-tease trend and tease out shadows and tiny pieces over several weeks. It doesn't generate interest -- the interest is already there -- and people staring at little details encourages them to find details they don't like. Just tell us when we're going to see the car, then show us the car on that date.
I think the thing with the viper was that the interior was so unbearably crappy, even making the Corvette look like a Benz by comparison, that pretty much any tease that didn't look like the interior of a PowerWheels car would be lauded.

???????? All I see is a part of the upper side bolster. What can you tell from that?
Viper's always had good seats, to the point that I've seen a handful of guys swap gts seats into c5's. I read a motortrend thing last night though, that said the big boss of fiat, stopped by to check out progress of the viper once the design was chosen. He took one look at the seats and said toss em. Weather they sucked, or were just to bland I dunno, but he contracted the same company that provides ferarri their seats, to provide seats for this viper. If this is a sub $100,000 car, things are starting to seriously look up for it. I'm just wondering if the typical buyer base of old cars is thrilled with the idea...

Surely you jest. You could not be further from the truth. Keep telling yourself that and maybe you will believe it.

While I agree that he might be exaggerating just a bit, you are familiar with the 1st gen Vipers, right?
I happen to like the looks/layout of Viper interiors but those '92-'96 RT/10s definitely had their share of hard/brittle plastics and pieces raided from the various Chrysler/Dodge parts bins.
Still an awesome sports car regardless and the later interiors were pretty good too in my opinion.
Oh yeah. I must have confused it with some other car:
Yeah like I said, keep telling yourself that and you might convince yourself that. If you ever did anything but troll or wax, you might think different. You are one of those who tries to justify things his/her way no matter the real truth. I imagine you are one of the shine and wax type so keep trying to convince yourself that you know what you are talking about. I believe that you are the same troll Kaneda that posts on Viperclub.
