C7 rear diffuser?
Sorry if this is a duplicate, haven't seen anything on it in the two months I've been checking the c7 section.
Jalopnik aside, In this pic it seems the diffuser, which I can make out, barely by the indent on the left side of the camo seems a bit higher and spaced further apart.
Also wondering if It will be carbon fiber?

At this stage of the development cycle, and to their credit, with the secrecy GM is managing to maintain on the new C7, that rear section is currently called the 'Confuser' not Diffuser

Sorry, what I meant was that the C7's diffuser looks like it might be more effective at generating downforce than the C6's. I consider the rear lower part of the C6 as a cosmetic "fascia", not necessarily a complete diffuser. It probably serves some benefit, but as to how functional it really is, I don't know the answer to that.
I dunno, but that's what I'd like to find out - will the C7's diffuser be for show or will it generate real downforce? I'm hoping the entire aero package is improved.

IIRC GM discussed that the diffusser was effective, although I don't recall how effective. I am confident that the entire aero package will be improved. I would gues that both Cd and total drag will be reduced. I expect that there will be reduced lift/increased downforce at each end.
Every car company is looking to increase the milage of all of their cars. Aero is something that can be affect in the design stage with minimal additional tooling costs beyond that already required for a new model.
What would lead you to belive that they wouldn't improve the aero package?
