Default 007's needed!!!

Cmon! There must be someone who lives in Bowling Green that can keep their eyes open for a C7! I figured by now a disgruntled auto worker or supply employee would have leaked some info. Even the guy that mows the grass at the factory should notice something. Hell, there were sightings of he Stealth fighter before it was made public...

A well known Corvette racer/friend of mine actually just arrived at Beech Bend Raceway (only about 5 miles from the Corvette Plant) a couple of hours ago for the big NMCA race down there this weekend.
I'd jokingly told him to swing by the plant if he could and grab some C7 spy photos. He jokingly told me to stay by my phone in case he needed some 'bail money' LOL.

They're not going to be driving naked C7s around town.

And info has been leaked -- Jalopnik illustrations, bumper tool video.

The lawn maintenance engineer is probably very happy to have his job and isn't going to jeopardize it to satisfy some impatient stranger on an Internet forum.

That may be true, but everything has a price...

A lot of dealer principals and regular guys are going to Las Vegas in September to see the C7 . The best thing I could hope for is to get an extensive description - like maybe it looks very similar to something - Ferrrari F12 or Jalopnik... We will see.

I don't believe the C7 prototypes have made it to BG yet. Look for them in MI. Reps of BG assembly have already gone to MI to weigh in on C7 assembly planning.

Don't expect any surprises, I agree with Jinx. We've already seen the C7. Jalopnik drawings nailed it months ago and Omega's leak confirmed Jalopnik's drawings are spot on.

At last a voice of reason......
for sure if the Omega leak is factual, then Jalopnik says
"what you see is what you get" or dam close..!

Wont the Base C7 vary considerably though in its symmetrical body style and stripped down nature compared to the ZR1 C7?

It just seems like if alot of people hate the ZR1 they may be less than thrilled with the C7 thats even less busy exotic.

Unless theres something I dont know we will be seeing a different version come January in Detroit unless its one singular body style (Which I heard rumor of)

...but I'm hoping for more!
Beauty (or ugliness) is in the eye of the beholder, and I want to behold a real pic. No more renderings or bumper castings.

If this thing is ugly, I don't care how good the interior is, or what motor it's got in it.
As someone else posted on here, "there's no place in my garage for an ugly car"...or something like that.
Take the Bugatti Veyron. 1000hp supercar, but it's horribly UGLY!
No desire for one of those at all.

My other post about staking out this Vegas show got over 300 views, but no replies!
We know there will be a C7 transporting to Vegas, and will somehow have to make it from the trailer into whatever place is hosting the showing.

Doesn't have to be a GM employee or supplier putting their job at risk.
Just a sharp eyed Joe Blow in the right place at the right time. ...and preferably with a high def camera!
Same thing around Bowling Green.
