We were sitting beside each other on the bench one game when he noticed a big banner.
It said, "Odjick is as tough as Sadaam Hussein"
He leaned over innocently and asked me, "what number is that Sadaam Hussein?"
He was a full blood from Oka Quebec and had NO idea who was the leader of Iraq.......

keeks, my personal NHL story for you:
Back in 1969 me two coworkers and our wives saw Bobby Clark's debut game in Philly.
In those days most Flyers stayed at the Willows Motel in Tinicum Twp, just South of Philly. And it had a bar where you had a chance to meet players late after the game.
With us was Artie, a joker, who seeing Clark and about eight Flyers at the end of the bar, shouted out "I think we can take any three Flyer's Players in here". The place got real quiet, people clearing the distance between us and them, and waited for their reaction.
Artie, with his great laugh and good timIng, defused the challenge humbly as we were ready to abandon him. He walked up to them and began to congradulate Clark on his first home game. Of course buying them a round help too.
We all shared a great moment, at a great time early in Philly NHL History.
