Never seen it and boy is that cheesy... but cool for the time. Since the c6 with the "kids driving a c6 thus teaching kids to drive immaturely" deal got that commercial banned, I'm sure a video with them saying its doing 170+ wouldn't fly. That's sorta why I think they keep showing the vette on the track in the commercials, therefor all criticism(and liability) is off their backs.
They need to hire whoever did the 2013 "inner mustang" commercial. Now THAT was a commercial that was aimed to get everyone's attention, and had a little humor at the end. Possibly best car commercial I've seen in awhile. The cobalt SS wasn't bad either.
I wonder what GM will have in-store for the C7 ???
At Corvettes at Carlisle, Harlan Charles, Corvette marketing chief, and Tad Juechter, Corvette chief engineer were part of the autograph event. I asked Harlan whether we would be seeing an awesome C7 commercial next year. He said, "wouldn't you rather we had an awesome car?" I said, "it goes without saying it'll be awesome, but that's *his* job," pointing at Tadge, "yours is the commercial." Tadge, who was seated nearby, laughed. Harland, on the other hand, looked pissed, but had nothing further to say.

Nope, this Ford GT commercial is the best. No music, no theatrics. no CGI, no dancing hamsters, just the natural sound of the car doing what it was built for.
