Anybody take a hard look at the brakes....
Anybody that has seriously eyeballed the test mule pics taken a hard look at the brakes. The wheels have not been covered. What can we see...
From the pics I've seen the rotors are not drilled or slotted and don't seem to be very large.
I've only seen one shot with part of a caliper. It did not look like a ZO6 part to me.
The so called engine bay pics show a different brake fluid reservoir.
Any ideas.....

There have been a number of different looking disks and calipers. It is hard to judge brake size without wheel size and the design of the wheel affects perception. I expect them to be at least as good as the C6 brakes.

From the pics we've seen we can expect the base car to have the 5-spoke wheels with plain rotors and all-season tires. The calipers won't be too big, light weight is a major goal of the C7. Expect the 10-spoke wheels with bigger brakes and slotted rotors and summer tires to be part of an optional performance package.

I don't know if they're monoblocs, but they are certainly fixed calipers. Looks like 4 piston front and rear, similar to the Camaro. I'd expect bigger brakes (CTS-V/ZL1esque) to be an option and a massive (15"+ rotors with monobloc calipers/current ZR1) carbon ceramic brake package to be standard on the halo model.
That is if, of course, GM decides to do some parts sharing for the Corvette, which I would expect.

If it uses the sames size brakes as on the 4000 pound cars they should stop just fine and have less fade.

I looked at one pretty close up stopped for a couple minutes, and the rotors on it were both slotted and drilled. I don't know if all of them were that way, but at least one of them was.

90% I am sure the caliper will be Brembo.
