What he is referring to is, you can buy after market "window valet"
plug it in under the dash, then use your remote!!
You hit it 3 times on the unlock it drops the windows, hit the lock button 3 times it sends them up!!
It is nice I have it on my C6!!
Correct, even my wife's 08 Accord could lower all the windows and open the sun roof with a press and hold on the fob as I approached the car. Why GM never outfitted the C6 with this feature is beyond me. I bought the Window Valet for both of my C5's and C6's.
Am hoping the C7 has this feature as standard equipment.
Not a real big deal. Wouldn't use it if I had it. I use remote start in my Malibu to fire up the heater or AC depending on the outside temp but I wouldn't run the windows down.
I have to admit I have never, ever considered this. Can someone explain why something that rolls down your window like this is worth $135? How often do you use this? At what point in your driving experience do you hit this button?
I might consider a button that dropped the top on my vert worth $50 - $75 bucks...

I don't think it is worth anything extra, but many down here in Florida like the idea of dropping the windows while walking up to the car to let the heat out before getting in. My old Acura had that feature standard.

Well, that makes sense...if I lived in a very hot area.

If you had a C5 with a manual convertible top, you would shut off the motor and the window valet would allow you to exit, put up the top manually and then roll up the windows and then lock the doors. It is not needed on the C6 with power top because you close the top and roll up the windows before you exit the car. It was worth the extra $$$ on the C5 with manual top.
My Z4 coupe has this feature. It is handy when you are parking in tight parking spaces. I find it easier to get out of the car with the window down, and then put the window up via the key fob when I am out.

I suspect there are a few owners who park in direct sunlight. Just like a few drive in the rain. I do that every once on a while, but never felt like I needed a feature like that.
was able to do this with my 370Z via the fob. It was kinda cool but heard people would come to their car and the windows would be down and if it rained they were SOL. They had the fob in their pocket and it would get pressed while sitting and down go the windows. The fob work a good ways away. They just need to make it one touch up first.

LOL! This actually happened to me a couple times with my C5. I got in someone else's car a took off. When I came back the windows were down. My keys in my pocket must have been pressing the unlock button on the FOB over and over. Since the FOB works from so far away, I can see it happening. Luckily the car was in a lot that doesn't get much attention at all and the car was hidden behind some large bushes. But it did concern me enough that I changed the way I put my keys in my pocket now.
