One would think that the "World's Number One Corvette Dealer" would have enough "drag" with GM to get the C7 to the Philly show. If GM had any marketing sense they would be showing the C7, live, to as many people as possible. The various Car shows are the best venue for this.
Hopefully, we won't be treated to an exhibition of "yesterday's news", i.e., '13 Zs in Philly.
What do ya'll think the chances are for it making an appearance at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale? The are concurrent events, albeit with a little different goal, but Barrett-Jackson attracts a very large crowd. I might be grasping at straws here, but this is the third year in a row I've missed the NAIAS and I'm going crazy!
I’m wondering about DC. As I recall, when the ZR1 debuted they didn’t send one to DC. The NAIAS ran concurrently with the DC show that year and I was told the only available model stayed in Detroit. We shouldn’t have that problem this year (Detroit ends before DC starts) so I’m hoping the beast will be in DC. Anybody have any inside info?
I have no idea if it will be in DC. I do know that they specifically moved the dates of the DC show a few years ago to be after Detroit so that they could get the buzz-worthy, just -announced models instead of the models that have been on the show circuit for a year already. Hopefully it works this time...
