#1 As I said it's based on the article
#2 We each have a right to our own opinions
Interesting viewpoints. And I am willing to bet "arguably the most attractive, relevant Corvette since....." has been stated in some form or fashion with each change since the introduction of the first Corvette. And when the C8 comes out, this statement (or a variation of it) will be used again. And again. Until Corvettes come with harrier type propulsion.....and we hear it again
O yes indeed,,...but with corvette wisdom comes experience of ownership across generations.
LOL!!!!! You said it before I could type it out...
Too funny everybody that has seen the stingray concept never had a problem with the Camaro tail lights but god forbid they are any where close on the C7.... Humans are too funny
I agree with you. This should be the C7. I will reserve judgment until I see the final product, but this would have been a game-changer, no questions asked.

Yep, a real game changer. We would all have to go out and buy a Batman costume
I just read the Car and Driver Jan 2013 article, "Corvette, Declassified" - so disappointing....
All these supposedly great engine modifications. Excuse me but the state-of-the-art is for for twin turbos. For comparison, turn 2 pages in the magazine and they flaunt the lethal Audi S6 with a 420-hp, twin -turbo 4.0 liter V8 that goes from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.
Square, Camaro taillights - you've GOTTA be kidding me!
Six speed auto transmission - the standard is 8 speeds my friends...
Flat, boring rear window, useless rear-side windows, it's a very sad day for corvettes!!!
The last paragraph in the C7 article says this is "arguably the most attractive, relevant Corvette since the 1963-67 "midyear" Sing Ray."
Really?! Give me a break!!
Misinformed much?
Go buy an Audi if you're so impressed.

Your right gM will be behind, they have been for sometime.
european and asian will be more tech advanced. But than its
a chevy not a custom high quality car, just a assembly line
mass produced car. And cheap in terms of many.

Really? Have you seen the designs from what the World considers the best cars these days? I'm sorry if I happen to enjoy bolder design, but where do you think the automotive world is going to be in five years? The Corvette already can't keep up. It used to be the World standard, now, it's boring.

So the masses could afford, corners had to be cut
They work well when you maintain them. Aren't you the guy who was glad to announce that he hadn't change the oil in five years! Because the oil change LED had never turned on? I had to tell that guy to change it ASAP.

Does this look like a transformers batmobile to you?
