Which standards are you referring too? There are a plenty of different low riding, super cars on the road.
Low speed frontal impact for certain. The front bumpers design really doesn't lend itself to crash bar and foam, also, with a sharp design like that...it just wouldn't survive.
Also you have minimum light height and bumper height standards it wouldn't pass.
Of course, all this could be modified enough to work. This would be a great kit or component car. This is a lot of my background. I've gone rounds with the government over federal standards and could give you the name of one of the most defining characters I've met in ALL my years. This guy is the person who overseas VIN certification...boy, is THAT guy a piece of work. Never in my life...hahaha. The definition of government, overpaid, in a little office, on a power trip, gone at two minutes til, blah blah blah guy I've EVER experienced.
I almost want to give out his direct number so people can simply listen to this guy talk. It's unbelievable...really...seriously...haha .
A car that will sell 25000 / yr for 7-9 years in its run and will be seen often at a 7-11 or supermarket parking lot can never look crazy exotic like a Ferrari Enzo or Lambo Aventador which most people away from the largest cities have never seen except in pics. It would have a shelf life of a few months if you saw several a day, like the Corvette. Most guys who mod their Vettes or expensive cars where they look extreme like this keep em only for a yr at most for the same reason.
If I had a car like this, I would not sell it in a year. I would drive that thing everywhere.
FYI, the orange one above looks just as good.
Hi guys I just noticed this thread and decided to upload all my renderings to my Deviant Art account if your interested or maybe someone could post the pic here for all to see !

Too bad GM didn't hire you for the c7 project .
Your renderings are exactly what Corvette desperately NEEDS right now .
These are the only ones I like . You should try and get GM's attention for the c8 project ..
Incredible renderings
The C7’s front-end is attractive, however, stylistically something similar to this would’ve proved a much better interpretation than what’s been revealed of the rear, GM designers missed the cue imo.

I am looking forward to seeing the real C7 and I am sure it looks 100 times better in real life
