2900 divided by 450 = 6.44 (to low a weight but okay on horsepower)
3000 divided by 450 = 6.66(realistic weight and horsepower)
3175 divided by 505 = 6.29 (actual Z06 weight and horsepower)
3355 divided by 505 = 6.64 (actual weight and horsepower of 427 convertible)
3208 divided by 436 = 7.36 (actual C6 weight and horsepower)

Well the C6 made 400 and the 02-04 C5 Z06 made 405 it replaced. Does it sound wacky now? Didn't think so. The difference it my sepculation is based on history sir. And who says it wont make 500 on E85 as in the previous articles and posts? Hmmmm sounds wacky to me again LOL!!!

All i did was make some calculations based on the artical linked by the OP, these are only possibilities if the author is correct about the weight reduction. To the the people complaining about speculation, please, until GM releases all the info, the whole point of C7 General is speculating about the C7. Anyone who does not like speculation is in the wrong sub forum.

Also I think sub-3000lbs is entirely believable. After all they hit 3100 with the Z06 almost 6 years ago. You would think that advancements in technology could cut another 150lbs or so off the car.
