I read through the forum and found a post from Mike at Criswell chevrolet in Gaithersburg MD. This company and this man support the Corvette Forum..
They are very large Corvette dealer. The nice thing is if you change your mind before the actual order they refund 100%. I look forward to having my car the first month they are delivered.the most important thing is they sell at MSRP.
LOL you're funny. How did you "order" given there is no option sheet, price structure, or even final vehicle specs yet?
Good question. I have the sales brochure which list the options it is from Chevrolet. You can call them and get it too. It is a PDF.
Final specs will not change my decision. As for the price they promise MSRP. As for the money I really do not care how much it is.
They take your name and deposit, make out a sales receipt with the info on it and put you on a waiting list. When the ordering information becomes available they call you and you decide what options you want, they revise the sales receipt, tell you how much you will pay if the data is available and when the order window opens place the order with GM as a sold order.

Thanks Bill. TTRotary doesn't understand the process it seems.
I am going with the lovely dark gray with the brown leather interior. It is the featured car in the sales brochure..not very adventurous of me. The actual final order goes out when GM says ok. There is plenty of time for details. Most all the cars I have seen are the top model. The basic car I can not find. They have some really cool interior options As a note the really good seats will not be available for some time after production starts.
Congrats Bill! I am sure you will love your new C7.. I am looking forward to owning one myself but will be waiting until the Z06 or Z07 model is revealed so I can weigh my options.
That color combo you chose should be beautiful. I am a big fan of Gray. My Z06 is Cyber Gray and will likely be my first choice. I really like the fact that there are many more color combinations for the interior. My black/gray combo is getting kind of boring. A nice saddle color would add a touch of class but I would want to see the combo first hand before deciding.
Sorry for the long winded post. Congrats on your future C7!
I had no idea you could order what you wanted in the car. I figured you signed up and took whatever the plant sent them when it was your turn to buy.
now I am even more tempted!
You do not have to buy. Mike is really good on the phone. Just call him and ask your questions. He will email you a PDF which is the factory sales brochure. Cheers!

Smart move, Bill.
With the shaky US economy and the world situation, don't put off doing anything you have your heart set on doing.
TIME is a precious commodity. Now more than ever.
If the dollar goes to zero, $80,000 will just be paper to wipe your butt,
but (hopefully) the C7 will be in your garage.
