Is the new Z51 the only way to get the MRC
Looking at the standard and optional list provided by Kerbeck's I see that to get the MRC aka F55 suspension you now need to order the Z51 FE4 suspension.
I don't see the F55 as a stand alone option anymore. Is this correct? Wonder how much the new F55/Z51 will cost?

MSRC/PTM I think would be a must have..It most likely will be combined with the larger wheels and cost a easy 4k

I imagine that the magnetic suspension will ad 2K+ to the Z51 option.
If I talk myself into ordering one, I will get the Z51, but forgo the
adjustable suspension. I have it on my 08, but have never taken it off sport.

I think it has been tweaked since 08...I have it on my 13Z and love it..you can feel the difference between settings

I hope GM decouples the Z51 package from other options. I'd like to get the MSRC and black rims, but don't really need or want all the other performance enhancements.
I think it would benefit GM to be as flexible as possible about the options. Go to the Mini Cooper site and build a car to see what I mean. Just about everything can be customized by the buyer. It's probably a challenge at the assembly plant to allow this flexibility, but clearly it can be done.

MR = Waste of money. Z51 1LT red calipers and Competition seats is all I want and need. Rims are not to my liking, I am going to get Forged 360 wheels 20X11 inch vs. the 20X10, need to fill the fender more and get wider tires when the new ones wear out

Since it's not an option on the base car and you can get the Z51 without it, it's possible that GM could make zero profit off it, if no one checks off that box.

Sure looks that way. Samething happened with the cts. If I remember correctly you couldnt just get the navigation without also having to purchase a package included other expensive goodies.
Personally... I would shell out for the magnetic ride. These are the new gen 3's and much mkre responsive than the previous versions.

With what the MR shocks have done to cars like the CTS-V, the ZR1, the Z06, ZL1, you'd have to be nuts not to get it if you're looking for the most performance out of your C7.

This is what I think competition seats should be. Strong side support but still soft enough for ***.
