Man, you just gotta love some of the "O please GM" messages that are showing up here. I mean, split windows? Seriously?
I gotta cheap solution...just get the Blade Silver C7 (or C6 for that matter) and stick a strip of classic silver duct tape down the center of the back window. Easy peasy!

I love this look. Delete the rear quarter windows Mr. General and we will all order our new "z06"s nxt year.
Thx.

You know what the worst part about this picture (for me) is? That is actually both of MY cars horribly combined.... My vette is a C5 and I drive a daily beater 90 Accord.... And for those of you who aren't as familiar with Hondas, that my friends is a 90-93 Accord...

I thought there was a soundbyte from a GM "executive" a couple of years ago where he indicated that there will be a slit window option for the C7.
It would seem if GM wanted to celebrate the 1963 split window, the 2013 C6 model would have been the perfect time to celebrate the 50th anniversary.

OK, here is the plan. GM should just (for one year) rebuild the entire 1963 splitwindow model with a new LT1 engine, aluminum frame and the same, exact body from '63 WITH the splitwindow but with a camera. Sell them for $120k MINIMUM to satisfy the 20-50 guys who would buy them, see how many sell and move forward from there.

And the national highway death rate would actually climb by a measureable amount because of the restricted vision. But a lot of folks would look cool as they backed over their grandkids.

Bottom line, all speculation aside, it's a done deal.

I'd really like to see the split window idea left in 1963. Seriously, why would anyone really want this? Seems like it would be a real pain to drive.
