what other forums think also.
im on the z4 forum, as we have a bmw z4 in our family that we like quite a bit. Its a hardtop convertible. I asked them what they thought of the new vette. Not one negative comment. Everyone loves it. I think its further proof that this new vette is going to sell very very well.

I got on Rennlist and read both 991 and GT3 RS sections. The GT3 RS was 28 pages long. Overall most Porsche guys were positive and in fact some were very excited about the C7. A couple that had seen it at Detroit gave WOW comments. They were very impressed and some are considering buying one to track since they think it' going to be a rocket ship that will also be rock solid and reliable.

I've also noticed this browsing different car forums. Which is why I laugh at the threads like "What viper fans think" etc. Overwhelmingly positive comments. I think the c6 CF section is the c7 Stingrays worst critic..lol.

I have had two C6s and now have an M3 and for the most part I agree with their assessment. There are some shots taken at the discombobulated stying, Camaro tail lights, that its overly busy and or garish. Overall though they are quite positive about it. For the most part I agree except that while I think the tail lights do look Camaroish, I like them and think they look great both there and here. Its from the design break at the center of the stern and going down that I dislike about the back end. Seems like two different committees designed it and neither was allowed to see each others work. Agree that its over styled/ a bit garish. Too much "look at me I'm a vent" going on for my taste. Still overall, the content looks solid so just like the C6 which I didn't like from all angles I'll buy if I don't actually hate it when I see it in person.

Don't see what you could dislike about it, many people complained the C6 and C5 look too similar and BAM now you get change. We got interior improvements, speed improvements, MPG improvements, uhhh what else T_T

On Ferrari Chat most are saying it looks great, and looks very similar to the Ferrari F-12 Some say the Interior still stinks but is better, some say the tail lights look borrowed from the Camaro bin. A lot are saying their glad GM didn't make a rear engine car, some are saying they should have.

Rennteam is 50/50. A lot still won't buy a Corvette because of the image (gold chain, bald, fat old man). The ones who like it are open minded, but they anticipate the price because of VAT taxes and Euro embargo on American cars will make it to expensive. Most of the Europeans on the forum simply say regardless of performance for dollar value, they would not be caught dead with a Corvette in Europe. They say it sends an undesireable PIMP image.

Good morning!!!! I'm back. A quick check this morning of 3 BMW forums or blogs. BMW Blog had no threads regarding the C6.4. Bimmerfest likewise no threads. Bimmerpost had one thread regarding the new C6.4 and there were many positive comments. There were negative comments sprinkled in regarding the interior, rear end, and vents. So there were some negative comments. No posted indicated an interest in buying a C6.4.
