Actually the Corvette Script is different between each of the generations.
The C7:
The C6:
You can see between with the C7 the transition from the C through the R is more open and there is an angle with the V that wasn't present on the C6. Additionally, the middle line on the E's in VETTE are connected to the base where they were disconnected on the C6. The base of the V has a larger flat on the bottom and there is a sharp angle at the tip of the E.
@VetJazz, the Corvette Script isn't a font. It is actually lettering designed to work together as a word but there is no font that can be downloaded as the only letters that exist in this shape are together in the word Corvette (meaning only C, O, R, V, E and T are created in this shape and only together in the logo. In previous generations, there were fonts that came close to simulating the C5 font for example but nothing for C6 or C7. It is actually designed more like a logo than lettering in a font.
