I agree, but I would think that most people who are buying the corvette for racing are not buying converts anyway. Am I wrong about this?

So, if the majority are not racing, than the extra weight really wouldn't matter. Why couldn't it could work as an option?

If the retractable hard top would make it viable on most tracks, I would be all for it.
