That's a load of malarky.
If I had $10M in the bank, I would still like to know the price and assess value regardless of whether it financially would really matter to me.

Tadge called me earlier and asked what we should price it at. I told him 53000 to start, and 59,900 with 3LT package and Z51.

I didn't realize Tadge had been transferred to the Chevrolet Marketing Department.
That sounds about $3000 more than "if you can afford a C6".

Forget about the base price. Do you really want to buy a stripped down version????? Fully loaded is the only way to go.

You buy what you want to, and others will buy what they want to, whether it's stripped down, loaded or something in between.

Regardless what MSRP is, you'll pay all of it. Wait 24 months and you'll save $10k.

What I can and can't afford would balance between what margins I'm willing to push and what options I'm willing to give up.
In reality, I can afford a $1,000/mo car payment + insurance no problem. Do I WANT that kind of payment? No... But if the car is what I'm expecting it to be, it may be worth the high car payment.
