That's what I thought too - until I saw it in person. After that I raised my grade on the rear to a C/C+, but ONLY if it's in a dark color.

I don't know, let's grade the C5 and C6 base cars too! People are still buying them.

C5 = Front, D - side, C - rear, F. Overall, D-.
C6 = Front, A - side, A - rear, B. Overall, A.

Based on the people who responded so far with an overall score:

3.4 Grade average or a B+

I would have preferred to have two scores, differentiating the people who have seen the car in person from those who have not.
