There is only two American owned beer companies left so you should be playing for that instead of Canadian beer. Here's what I learned on the internets [repurposed for this thread].
The Boston Beer Company, who makes Sam Adams, is still American, and is now the largest American brewer. Molson Coors Brewing is a Canadian-American company. They make Coors, Blue Moon, Killian's Irish Red and Keystone. Pabst Brewing Company is also American. They provide Pabst Blue Ribbon, Shlitz, and Old Milwaukee. However, they are farming out the manufacturing process to the UK based SABMiller (makers of Miller, Red Dog, Fosters, and several other international brands sold here and abroad). Make sure if you buy a beer that at least it's bottled here to provide jobs for Americans. The best bet is your local microbrew, or Sam Adams. Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company is a popular regional beer. So is D. G. Yuengling & Son, makers of Yuengling Lager, and other variations.

I personally like Thai Beer [Singha] with my Thai food, ..... and the 427 is not dated and far from being obsolete vis-à-vis the C7 at least not at this juncture.
+1 towards the mythical 1600...

Anyone who has looked at some of the functionality of the C7 would realize that it is a more advanced car than a C6, as one would expect. If you bought a C6 before the announcement of the C7, that's life, how long can one wait for the next gen car if you don't know when it might arrive...just get it. On the other hand if the C7 had been announced and you went out and got a C6 but now realize that you should have gotten a C7, well that was your error, but if you love the C6 that's great.
