Now that we have lots of new electronics, has anyone heard if CAGS will still be used? Hope not. I know it's simple to defeat. Just don't want it period.

I want wait as long as I did with my C6 to disable it. It is a totally useless, annoying and somewhat dangerous mandated system. Oh, I forgot to mention that I hate it.

As did most of us. But the CAGS did help satisfy the EPA. Hopefully, the CAGS in the C7 can be defeated as easy as it was in the C5/6. GM could easily make it where it could not be defeated so easy. The EPA is getting more hard *** every day. GM could't care less if you defeat the CAGS because it's defeat will not drive up their warranty cost. The EPA...that's a different skunk.
