So what about the old timers who have hundreds of CD's and don't even own an IPOD or know how to burn them onto their computer...Trust me, there are plenty out there.
New cars with CD players are far from dead. Do a search and you'll find several cars still offer them.
For the C7 owner and CD purist, or those not familiar with the PC ripping process, not to worry. Below is your $12.04 resolution. Just slip it into the console, plug the USB cable inside the console, done!
In a perfect (or even near perfect) listening environment I prefer CD's too but in the compact cabin of the C7 I prefer the uncluttered advantage of a SD Memory Card, mixed with the sounds of my LT1.
According to the Car and Driver long-term C7 road test, the cabin is so noisy driving down the road, no one will be able to hear the difference anyway!
I have one in my 2014 Durango and it takes up half the center console . If you can get it out of there you can have it! If a CD / DVD player will not play movies on my screen I don't want one!!!
