I'd say the LS7 is superior in power, torque and weight, but I honestly don't see how it has any other benefits over the LT1. (Stock for stock that is.)
But we're talking about the base motor vs. the high performance trim motor. The reality is that the LT1's technology and architecture is superior to the LS7's.
