Couple things. Couldn't the car manufacturer falsely list MSRP at $5k more than they really want, so they can give a false mark down of $5k on day one, so people can feel they got a bargain? Seems stupid to me, but hey, you got a bargain.
Doesn't a discounted car also depreciate the day you buy it just like a MSRP purchased car? I know a cheaper car will always be cheaper, but in the grand scheme of things, what is $1000-$2000 when purchasing this car. My life and enjoyment is worth more than waiting a year for it.
Anyway....huge discounts are around the corner. There will be C7s sitting on lots and when you just paid 60k understand it's worth 50k the next day. Happens to all cars.
