Can't wait to start modding this new Vette!

just kidding very nice garage you have there! I would love to do something like that if the powerball and I ever agree with one another. Love making the indoors of large Barns like that look like shops/house/ towns inside. Very cool!

Hehe, that sounds like a term I use for my Lamborghini and Ferrari dreams--I call those kinds of cars, "lottery cars".

It goes without saying that "villa" garage with the lift in it is a "lottery garage", too.

LOL....Thanks
I have been truly blessed in my business, but it pales when it comes to my real riches...family. I have two great kids and a supportive wife who actually works full time with me in the business.
When I started that project it was to be about 4,000 sq. ft. shop with air conditioning to work on my toys. Well then it just kind of blew up into 10,000 with a full apartment, soda shop, office, car wash bay
I did mess up and make it too nice, the costs skyrocketed when I had to add onto and remodel the house. The four of us actually lived there for a little over a year while the house renovated.
Here are some more pics.

Thanks Guys,
I think we can all agree the one improvement all of our garages need is the presence of a new C7 Corvette! Anyone know how to get that assembling line ironed out and cranking out our cars?
I have to say I don't wait well.

Default I will take some pics....

Well started to get the garage ready for the new C7. Tomorrow, we are putting down the epoxy gray garage floor paint (spent today doing prep for that, cleaned entire garage out, it's a three car garage and we had tons of junk in it) degreased floor, fixed cracks in cement and etched the concrete. Tomorrow we will coat the floor.

Also, I purchased the Stingray 3D Metal Artwork logo at chevymall.com along with the STINGRAY logo script in 3D metal, both items are 50 inches wide if you choose the biggest model as I did

I then have an artist whom is going to paint a huge mural of the new c7 flags (she is good) on the wall The bottom 3rd of the garage will be painted in maroon when I am done and the upper two thirds in light gray. After floor cures I will take some pics, once I get the new metal artwork in and hung I will post some more. Finally when the C7 flags logo is painted along with some additional paint work I will post the final pics.
One other thing I need to do is get some new cabinetry for the garage, any ideas? Most of the stuff out there is garbage or crazy expensive. Sams club has some cool stuff but you got to put it together and there are 400 screws, I say, screw that? Any suggestions??

I will post pics of the floor painted, hopefully tomorrow, that's all that has been done thus far! I did order the Stingray logo and script in supersize and decided to go with Sams club stainless steel garage cabinets, not looking forward to assembly but they look good and have good reviews on them.

I hope to have everything done within the next two weeks, will post final pics then Stay Tuned

My order status for my Artic White Z51 3LT 7 spd manual with black wheels, red calipers, red interior, is at order status 3000, hope to have it by mid Sept at latest (I was in the first consensus with MacMulkin) wanted it to have a proper "home" funny thing is garage was a total mess before I started so I am getting excited

Default Full Length Mirror

When I had my 67 roadster many years ago I had small 1 car garage. I put a full length mirror at the front of my garage to help me see the right side of the car when parking. One of my friends saw the mirror one day and from then on I never heard the end of Corvette owners needing full length mirrors to watch themselves getting in and out of their cars and comb their hair if needed.

I have noticed that not one of these fabulous garages has a full length mirror. Is that no longer a requirement for corvette owners?

I would highly recommend porcelain tile. When installed correctly with no voids in the thinset it is super tough. I have had 8000 lbs forklifts all over mine with zero issues. However dropping heavy things on it will chip the tile, so under the lift we went with race deck.

I'm pretty sure I will pick up a C7 in a few years myself. I do think you haven't done yourself justice by not previously owning a Corvette. I'm certain you will be shock by the difference in refinement from even the C6.
I'm sure the C7 is going to shock people more that they think when they get to track it. More so when the upper level C7s come out.
