Just saw this elsewhere. Somebody spotted it near Cincinnati. Looks pretty cool!

I know this is going to sound stupid but here goes anyway...

Is this real? I mean, who could have one and have it painted already? And, that "sculpting" on the side, behind the vent, lower part of the door...does it stick out that much on all the other photos?

I guess I'm going crazy...

Yes, it could be real. Probably one of the pre-production cars with a set of potential GCA (Genuine Corvette Accessory) stripes being tested.

And yes, the lower part of the door is that sculpted:

I'm planning on Blade Silver with chrome aluminum but, I have to admit, the silver doesn't look good in these pictures

O'hh no..... I was afraid of this carbon fibre~ trend would start to proliferate. I'm afraid to think of the variations yet to come.

Yes, I see what you mean in the photo you posted. I guess I had never looked at it that closely. Comparing the two photos, the angle of the sun and shadows underneath the white one look more pronounced.

I like the look of the whole car (when one doesn't inspect the individual elements). But now, heck, that thing on the side...if it stuck out any further, it would start to look like a running board on a pickup.

(Didn't mean to detour the point of the thread so I'll get back on it)

That stripe down the back...I'm not so sure on it, either. For some strange reason, it makes me think of the "Mustang stripe" that's so prevelant on that car...

The vertical stripe in the back does not look good to me.

The C7 rear is already busy enough without the addition of a pair of stripes on top of it all.

I don't like the black stripes at all. And the stippes are ugly even if hard to spot. I do not like stippes on any cars.

I am not a fan. The stripes look funny to me straight on from the back.
