I wanted one for the past decade but it seems like every summer something got in the way. Finally grabbed a 05 Red vert on July 29, 2011 as a 30th bday/graduation gift to myself.
I had put a grand down the week before to hold the price. They called me that Friday morning claiming there was another buyer interested. I didn't go to work, went to the bank for rest of DP and had cousin drive me out there in his 2011 Camaro.
I'll never forget pulling up and seeing it there waiting on me. I had them remove the dealer's sticker, I don't believe in free advertising.
Life has been grand ever since. I'm going to wait til 2015/16 for C7.
