I don't believe I recognize the car in his aviator. Is that an obsolete base C6 he's showing off? Can't be a car he drives, could it? I guess that only C6 owners are Trolls, including him, since he has a C6 and not a C7.
I checked GM'er's list of people that have orders in for a C7 and don't see his name. Maybe he's planning on waiting until 2018 when he can get a C7 at a discount. Instead of paying $10,000 over MSRP, he's hoping he can get one for $9,000 over MSRP(if Bill doesn't beat him to it as it will surely be the only unsold C7 in existence).

That proves nothing. GM'er is only listing those at status 3000 or above. I have an order number and I am not on GM'ers list because I am, unfortunately, still at 1100.

Why are my posts displaying a different time? My reply to JoesC5 shows 8:25pm, but it was posted at 9:05 pm and the posts by 05dsom and irvbulldogs72 were posted before my reply (they were already here before I did my reply) but my reply shows before their posts.

Now I know why I don't get over to the C7 forum that much. You guys bicker like a bunch of children. And I thought the C6 forum was bad.

I was under the impression that Gm'er was listing everyone that had that had contacted him and had a order number. My bad if he is only showing those at 3000 or above.

How much do you think it will cost? More than a C6 ZR1? $125K?

Without starting a new thread, we have heard rumors of possibly gm testing a twin turbo v8 power plant, along side a supercharged power plant comparing which will be best suited for the hipo vette and cts-v. What benefits if any do you guys think a twin turbo power plant would offer over a supercharger in the c7 platform? I personally think a turbo setup would be easier to cool then the supercharger especially for extended track performance. But its hard to deny how brutal the c6zr1 is with that instant lowend torque which twin turbos won't be able to touch. Discuss...

Holding back all those horses a tad I would think would have to work better with AFM? A supercharger with AFM would seem to have to be schizophrenic? And, turbo on the side I think would sell better!

Also, definitely E85 in either case, eLSD, SS tires, plus the CC's, fiber, MRC, PTM, and the wide body winning as before.

(and I've been know to enjoy firing some of you guys up!)

Hopefully the hi-po model doesn't have AFM.

DI=~1MPG @21MPG
VVT=~1MPG @ 21MPG

Turbos would be better there tooo!

And by GM's own words a 454 Z06 With AFM should/could get better MPG then the smaller V8's in the line!

You are a good opportunity to spiel out more ideas! Thanks that's how us Trolls roll!

1) A turbo Vette would have that exclusivity.

2) Turbo's have that Usable midrange torque that we all know and love.

3) It would get better MPG.

4) AFM can be shut off, and dynamic is the new normal in performance. Why not go after transients of better MPG in a street car?

5) GM said they didn't down size the V8 because AFM could down power more often and there is a net gain. So based on that more displacement should yield some decent results for a Z06, and could be a plus, plus.
