Default Ordered My Stingray today!

Went to local dealer and ordered the 3LT, CRT with Kalahari interior, Z51 with Mag Ride, Dual-exhaust and chrome wheels

I know this has been asked before but if you wanted to pick your Vet at the Museum can you do that with out paying for the Museum delivery charge or the destination fee. I guessing the destination fee is always there though.

Thanks

Thanks, my wife was wondering if we just went to BG, Ky if we could pick it up and drive home from there and save shipping - she works as auditor for bank!

Thanks - extremely excited, wanted a corvette since I was a teen back in the 60's - dream coming true!

But, no date unfortunately. my invoice number has 77751 (C7 and Z51). :-)

Congrats! I have the exact same order in. I do not see how you can get a museum pickup without paying. And, destination fee if you like it or not.

The destination fee is a standard fee that everyone pays regardless of location. So, you would have to pay that fee regardless.

If you and your wife want to drive to BG and pick up the car, then do the museum delivery. I have not heard one person that has done this in the past that has regretted it. It is not just picking up a car, you are treated very special. Go to the museum website and take a look at what you get with the museum delivery. My wife and I will be taking museum delivery on our convertible, ...when ever that happens.

Default Thanks - will have to look at doing the Museum Delivery

I know the biggest issues is the cost of almost $900 to get a tour and pick up your car.

Thanks

Please, when you get your car post pictures of it on this forum. The reason is a lot of folks want to see the CRM ( opps, tintcoat) with the Kalahari interior.

Make it 4 that way. And I am hoping for the 4th consensus but still have 1 C7 ahead of me. Congratulations on your first Corvette. This will make my ahh, let count them. Yeah, my first Corvette too! Really excited, what a way to start my retirement.

Whoops, I have black wheels on order, just noticed you have silver.

Decided to go chrome instead but black will look cool! Nice ride into retirement, congrats!
