Default Red Seats

What's with the bright red colored seats I've seen in some of the pictures? I've seen the color on Kerbeck's site. It looks too bright to be adrenaline red. Is it just an off colored adrenaline red photo or what. It looks awesome. I hope they offer it in 2015.

Default Bright Red Is Accurate: Why It Is Called "Adrenaline" Red

Have seen it up close and it is bright, bright red, like Torch Red interiors in the C5, not like a dark/maroon like Cobalt Red on the C6's.

The Kerbeck web site picked up the first GM published pictures --not Kerbeck's fault, but it is NOT color/tone accurate.

This a color accurate tone picture; it is exactly how Adrenaline Red looks to your eyes.

Thanks. I wasn't actually blaming Kerbeck though. LOL. I referencing their site because I'm sure most people are familiar with Kerbeck. They look awesome. Thanks again.

Thanks for that! I have been wondering what it actually looks like since every picture seems to be a little different.

I would like to point out that, to viewers, the photo will only be as accurate as your display.

And frankly, that color will look different depending on several variables:
  • Ambient light color temperature (natural, incandescent, fluorescent, etc.)
  • Dimness or brightness of ambient light
  • Amount of contrast with surroundings (e.g., exterior color of car)
Best to see several examples in person under a variety of conditions before blindly ordering it.

I'm glad it looks bright Red...

The brighter Red looks better in a Corvette.

I agree, this is pretty close to the real thing that I've seen in person.

Red has always been tough to photograph. The 2013 red interior is dark but whenever I took a picture of it, it looked like this bright red! I'm hoping GM comes up with a better picture of the red seat for me to use on the site!
