2018 C7 of Year Finalist
Hard to weed them out when driving a C7.
At 25, I had a 2 year old C3. Had asked a girl to dance a couple different times, and got the blow off. Last time she saw me leave in my Red C3. A couple weeks later I was in there and she was all over me, until I said, I dove a beater pick up tonight. I was not lie. I drove my truck most the time. Especially on the first six or seven dates

Hah. Yeah I get these questions a lot when people find out I'm spending how much at what age. I don't mind answering.
1) My parents let me stay at their house for 2.5 years rent free while I was saving for a house. So that can be considered a small financial aid. But no I paid for my house and my car all on my own money that I earned. (House was $810,000)
2) Finance. (Im not that rich... lol.) I put a deposit of $30,000 down.
3) I make $140,000/year, + $2350/month in rental income. Adding an income tax on that (if I were to pay taxes on that) totals to about $180,000/year. I do telecommunications for a utility company.
4) Nope. Very single, nothing to spend my money on. So I bought a nice car and nice house.
It's less of what I do, but where I live that generates these numbers. I live in a very special place ran by oil. Housing prices are absurd, ($740K is average), rent is absurd, everything is a bit more expensive, BUT, wages are highly increased to balance that. I do have a very good job and am in a great financial state, but if I was in another city, I would not be doing nearly as well.
Can't wait to get my car and enjoy the hell out of it! Owning this kind of car at my age is going to be soooooooooo much fun!

Yeah it will be an interesting time in the next couple of years on the ladies front. That's for sure. Hopefully I can find myself a good one. But yes, if I had a wife or serious gf right now, I would not be able to afford a C7 lol. And I plan on keeping it until a future wife convinces (forces) me to get rid of it.

49... I've owned 3 of them, '02, '07 and '09. My C7 will be #4, once I order it.

WOW jaymedic44 - that's an impressive list! I'd love a mere fraction of the knowledge you've gleaned from owning all those different years. What a wild ride (literally) your life has been!

65 and the C7 will be my 3rd vette. Bought a 78 in 91 when I was 43 and then bought a 68 in 93 when I was 45. Sold both and looking forward to my first new corvette.

78 and my 2011 C6 is the daily driver here in the northeast. Out in the snow yesterday. Never had a problem in the snow. Have had a new 02-C5, 05-C6, 08-C6, and the present 11, all daily drivers. About 160,000 miles in those Vettes. What joy, I'm a lucky guy.

Kids are grown and out of the house, I have a 03 100 year anniversary fatboy, 12 CVO road glide, 13 CVO 110 anniversary road king. She now never says a word about me and bikes.
The only thing she has said about the 14 Stingray on order was, " I sure do not see a need for that car" and "I could find something much better to do with 70K"
She knows the kids are out of the home, and I am investing a large amount of money into our future retiremetn, so she lets me have some fun now

48...this is my first Vette.
With a brief 2 year exception, where I had a 2008 CTS, I have owned nothing but trucks since 1987.
The CTS was nice and little sporty (not a V) but I missed having a truck.
Now I'll have the truck and my toy.

33 and starting to feel like I am no longer invincible...so finally decided to pull trigger. Waiting for ZO6 pricing to be released before getting into a C6 ZR1 or perhaps a C6 ZO6/ZO7 if I can score a really good deal relative to ZR1 prices.

I have 3 Camaros 1 1967 bought when I was 14, a 1969 Camaro , and a 2013 ZL1 convertible. I still feel like a teenager.
