Didn't they say by third quarter? Isn't late September 3rd quarter? I fail to see the "bad business" in this when they will start delivering cars by the time they said they would? What am I missing?

I really hope they deliver by the 3rd quarter, for the sake of everyone's sanity on this forum.
For me, I put my deposit down in January and will happily wait as long as I need to to get the perfect product.

Wow, C7 withdrawal anxiety makes grown adults act all weird.I think it's telling that the smart guys- Dave Salvatore, Rick Conti- refrain from joining in on this stuff. They realize that the cars will come when they come.

When launching a completely new model, no company can forecast what problems they may face when actually building it. So even if the best intention was there to start building customer cars sooner, we have to accept the fact that (poop) happens. I want my C7 in my garage as much as anyone, but I respect GM for not rushing it. As much as we're all complaining about the wait and misinformation, it pales in comparison to the bitching that would occur if they delivered the car too soon and things didn't fit and work perfectly. They know how **** their market is and they're determined not to screw up the launch of their halo car, no matter how much we whine. I'm OK with that.

Frankly, I'm bored with all this C7 talk. I heard the C8 is going to have AWD/DCT/DOHC/AFM/VVT/CIA/NCAA/NAACP/FBI/DOT/and a whole pack of other acronyms. Tom Hill told me. Or was it Dave?
