Default VY pics

I don't recall seeing these posted here, but sorry if it is a dupe. Photos are kinda tampered with unfortunately, but from seeing them I'm starting to think that VY looks better without the carbon flash mirrors and spoiler

Nice, but the front plate has got to go....I'd rather have bird crap sitting there...

Yup, luckily for me front plates aren't needed where I live.

I think GM should have used a yellow C7 as their primary showcase colour at the reveal and other shows shortly after Jan 13th, rather than red.

Currently owning a Torch Red
<-----<<<<
and before that a 2007 Velocity Yellow, I still look back very fondly on the yellow one. Purely psychological, but the Velocity Yellow just "felt" lighter and brighter. Fun, fun, fun.

I like Inferno Orange but know it is not yet available in a C7. Maybe Arctic White with Inferno Orange stripes but all hypothetical because I have no current plan to get a C7.

It's a dupe - more or less, including remarks about license plates, etc. - but never mind. Thanks for posting.

I know the two later pics I posted (for a more accurate lighting reference) were already posted here, for ex. in the link you showed, but I'm not seeing the first 4 pics from the original thread post in the link you pasted, its possible they aren't showing up in my browser for some reason.

You're correct.
That's why I added more or less (a dupe) in my comment, thereby wanting to say that it's the same car.

I think you need to look again at the VY with the carbon...lol. These pics are nice but the carbon add on's with the black wheels push this car over the top. I posted some pics in the photo section from Carlisle this past weekend. The yellow and black combo in person is absolutely incredible!

Mean and aggressive....

Great Pictures George.....Totally Awesome!

Add the jet black interior with the FAY option (Carbon Fiber Dash Trim) and carbon fiber roof and you have one mean machine!

ahh, well in that case I think out of hte "more or less" phrase this is "less" of a dupe than it is "more" lol

Most pics of the VY have the carbon flash mirrors and spoiler. There's only a couple that don't have it (I think these euro pics unless there are others I haven't seen). I like the look of the black wheels, vents, etc. and even the mirrors are fine in carbon but from the rear I think the body coloured spoiler just looks more clean, because there's already the black bottom half of the rear, then by adding a black spoiler it looks like a mustard sandwich in between black burnt toast lol. Both look good IMO, I think the yellow spoiler just looks a bit cleaner from the back.

I would have also thought dual black racing stripes would look great on the yellow C7, if it weren't for the blacked out bottom rear....because now if you add full length stripes you get a black upside down T on the back.

I am seriously considering changing my car from Cyber Grey to Velocity Yellow with the $105 Carbon Flash accents and black wheels. That is one badass looking car. Looks perfect!

Achmed,

You make a very valid point with the rear spoiler being body color although I don't know about a mustard sandwich....lol. I would still get the black spoiler but being how the bottom half is black it would be great either way. As far as the stripes go I would agree plus the current striping package doesn't appeal to me too much. The way the car sits in these pictures it definitely has a very clean but down right badass look like slappy suggests.

It's a winner!

This car looks very nice I must admit, I wonder if they put more of a C6 spoiler on the car it would lessen the bulkiness of the rear and give it a more streamlined look.
