I'm reminded of the slogan of the original Forum dealer: "Under Promise and OVER DELIVER".

According the the Coughlin guy in the showroom, those were sold customers' cars, not dealer cars.

I can't believe the dealer let them get in the car with a soda.

I left the event around 3:30 or so and didnt see the vettes. If they did show up, and they are customer cars, then that is MAJOR news right??? That would be the first confirmed delivery of customer cars that I have heard of. Further more, I'll be going over there tomorrow if that's the case to take a look finally!

I suspect the Coughlin guy in the showroom was seriously misinformed.

I know the person that gets the limegreen one is going to be pissed when they see the pop stains in it. I couldn't believe they were letting people in the sold C7 Corvettes. Did anyone notice the yellow one had a dent in the front fender??

Based on above, I wonder if these aren't captured fleet vehicles headed, ultimately, to scrap?

That would make sense, wouldn't it? Explains why he would know the colors he was getting two weeks ago without knowledge of which cars specifically had been made and were being shipped.

Only way to see if they were sold cars was to look at the VIN. Anyone got pictures of the window sticker?

If these were indeed sold cars, they better have had the customers consent to show them! Even then I'd be pissed if someone spilled soda in my new car!!

Oh, that's right, can't have dent. You own a used car lot? Would you allow other customers into a vehicle you had already sold?

I believe that it safe to say that all of us agree with the policy you follow on your car lot(s)

That is what I thought. So far I read 3 people were there and saw them. I will be looking into myself tomorrow. Man if someone was letting people all over my new car before I got it I would be very pi$$ed. Like a couple of people on here have said about the dealer worker saying there were customer names on the window stickers.
