Code 4200. GM Contact question.
However, my dealer has no invoice. I would imagine they will get one on monday? I would like to get the paperwork all done so I can take it home whenever it shows up.
I know a lot of you have been in contact with GM service, and I my question is:
What is the most effective and or best response to call gm to get an idea of when my car is scheduled to be at the dealer, and or to maybe push the issue on getting an invoice?
it has nothing to do with anxiety and or impatience. But I understand with the amount of insane posts I have been seeing lately....Anyway, My work has me away for 4 and 1/2 days a week right now. I am trading it a car that is a fairly modified for track duty, and need to return it to stock. I need to plan for wrench time and expected date of delivery so that:
A) My car does not arrive at the dealer with me being unprepared with my other car
B) If I am unprepared to turn the other car over, the new one has to sit at the dealer....no thanks
C) I need to schedule this so I am not 150 miles away from my home and dealer when all this happens
D) I cant do it twice, so the ~day before and possibly day of I can take off and to do the wrenching, and take delivery.
E) If the invoice is not ready at the time of delivery, car has to sit at dealer until I get the invoice, which probably means I am ~150 miles away again for a few more days, See B.
I ask my original question for these reasons. Anyone? Trying to get more of a ball park idea.
