Financing?
Curious how many of you are going through GM for your financing versus outside banks?
My invoice is coming soon and i wanted to know if any of you have already finished up the payment process and what rates your seeing?
im considering 60 mos or 72 mos for now... rates are so low out there, why not stretch it out?
thanks for the feedback in advance!

GM financing is only good when they are buying part of the rate (buying it down) ..they are not...see your local credit union for rates above 5 years at about 2.5 or so...

Don't know anymore. I had about 15K saved up but had to bail someone out of a tough spot... Down to $10K. By the time my car comes, I'm hopefully back to $15K. I was hoping to be at $20K by the time the car arrived.

Lol... Sounds real friggin familiar crash. That's funny... I'm still at 3000 (probably due to CF roof) and I'm not complaining too much really because its giving me a little more time to recoup. I'm shooting for $20k too.

Yeah, where are these rates published at?
My CU is 2.25%/60 and 3%/72. I think they just jumped.
EDIT:
I see 1.9% for NEW at Navy Federal Credit Union:

My CU is quoting 1.3% for 36 mos., 850 Equifax/Beacon, putting 50k down (saving some coin for mods). 60 mos. was I believe 1.7x%.
It's amazing that a few short years ago they were doing 7% and more for CDs and now a big poster proclaims .9% as a huge incentive.

Yeah... No kidding.
I doubt they're going to pay me back before my car comes in... It's really disappointing.

LOL! It's sad I was waiting for that comment too.
The Vette is a toy, but for some of us, it's an expensive hobby.

Ha! The Vette is my one and only daily driver and all around utility vehicle. I wish I could afford a fleet of specific-purpose cars.

Enjoy the "free" money, but there are retired folk out there that are getting only 0.01% on their CD. So they are essentially paying for your "free" money.
