Default Cancelled my order

Is "Un-cancelled"a word?? Medical issues will eventually be resolved and I will re-order. My original order will go to my son.

I'm tempted to do the same thing, car has been stuck at 4d00 for 20 days with no end in sight. My dealer has agreed to give deposit back. I will give it to Sept. 30, no delivery date equals canceled order.

If my car goes to Nashville, I will join the cancellation Band Wagon. Don't need this aggravation.

So if it came two weeks from now it wouldn't have been worth waiting for? I completely understand REALLY wanting it but now that it is so close, why lose patience and cancel? That doesn't make sense to me. Based on some of the reviews (check out the R&T/Jalopnik comments), the car will be worth the wait

I can really see your point, however, there comes a time that no material object should have such a negative impact on one's life. Chevrolet is not making it any easier for all who is in limbo!

Understood but it is only having a negative impact on your life because you are letting the wait and impatience get to you. If it took another month, is it REALLY that big of a deal?

P.S. Mine won't get here until February... and I'm not cancelling

Sorry to hear. I can understand your frustration. Why don't you check out other ones that made it to dealers whose owners have also cancelled? You may get lucky and find the right one for you, ready to go.

Good Luck!

This makes no sense to me. You would rather wait till next year to order again than wait a few more weeks or months.

I assume this was not for me as I don't believe being at 3000 for almost 3 months the car would be done in 12 days

What is the negative impact on his life? I swear some of you have completely lost all perspective about this.

2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, finally get the car to put in storage and always wonder WTH was wrong with it. 72k for a headache, no thanks.

I ordered in May - was told September delivery is possible, but unlikely - I should expect the car to arrive in October. Its not even late yet ....

I feel your pain.
I have been at 3000 for 2 months and I am disgusted with the lack of information. The least Chevy could do is let us know an estimated date of production. Sorry to hear you cancelled your order, but I understand how you feel. Good luck and I hope your 2015 order is much better.

Just a general statement... the point being is if you waited 3 months, what REALLY is so bad waiting another month? I really do understand the excitement and the anticipation but I don't understand just giving up when it is so close... especially for a car that promises to be pretty special from a performance perspective.

I'm not saying you made a bad call for you... just saying it makes no sense to me to not wait it out a bit longer.
