Thanks, I had seen that one on GM's site but configurator photos like that in isolation leave a lot to be desired. We should be able to see an actual photo of one on a C7.
Perhaps GMer or Talon or someone in the know can chime in?
They look pretty close to the silver painted. they are basically silver painted with polished face. Would like to see a side picture.

The wheels on the black car in the thread you linked to sure don't look like the wheels in post 22 of this thread.
clear coated " machined aluminum " circular grain pattern wheel finishes have been around for decades , OEM and aftermarket , such as this OEM one from a C4 .
just imagine this optional finish on a C7 wheel and there you have it
