Hey 66Silverpearl - what a sweet pair of cars. As I was enjoying all the pics of silver C7's I was remembering how great the C2 looked in silver. Then just like magic you posted two of the most beautiful sports cars ever made. Thank you very much!
The C7 looks wonderful in almost any color - I am not a fan of white cars and it totally rocks in AW. The TR and VY are awesome too - this car just does not have a bad color IMO.
I also like how any interior color looks good with the silver exterior. For me the Kalahari interior works particularly well. In general I am not a fan of the bright red interior, but that looks great with the silver exterior too.
The C7 shows how a great car design looks good in all available colors, while a weaker design only looks good in a few special combinations!

Thanks for the comments. When I first saw the Blade Silver 2014 I was struck with how similar the color was to my 1966 Silverpearl. Once I put the cars side by side, I was amazed that they are almost identical.
I had already "ordered" a Torch Red, w/black wheels and red calipers at the dealer.
But after lots of long nights, decided the silver shows the lines of the C7 better (IMHO) and
the yellow calipers w/black wheels really pop. Had the Stinger stripe installed by factory when built.
i woud have to say this is the best looking C7 re: color ops. the stripe is great, and fully coordinates with the black tires. nice job. i would buy this if i had it to do over (have the cg, with black wheels).
I have never really cared that much for silver on previous Corvettes but saw a coupe and realized how much the color does for the lines of the car and it looks good with non chrome Z51 wheels. Built this last night on the GM website. Red inside, red calipers and racing stripe. 2LT, Auto, Z51, Mag ride, performance exhaust and Nav. My only problem is I don't think the racing stripe is as bright as it seems in the rendering. Needs to be TR for me rather than the Crystal Red. I may have to have them painted on.
I'm just curious, how does this color compare to the 2015 Tiger Shark Gray? They seem real similar, surprised they would drop Cyber Gray for a color real close to another.
Great pictures Guys - would luv to see more pics - different angles of the ACS SPOILER especially as its on a blade silver - still trying to make a decision - thanks
Big fan of Nascar/Jeff Gordon.
All black kind of hides the design of the spoiler.
Wanted to see how the yellow would highlight the black spoiler and compliment the yellow brake cal..
It is PlastiDip for now..also wanted to see how much weathering
the leading edge would get.. and figured the rubber would do that.
Once the PlastiDip gets worn I will MOST likely paint
permanent yellow edge with an overlay of the yellow PlastiDip.
