Something happened.
PS- I didn't start this thread for political reasons, as some have said. Most of the people reading this section are very interested in what's going on in Bowling Green, so I posted some "new" news. I also asked if anyone with connections at the plant had further information that would explain the sudden cancellation of the tours. No one has replied, so I guess we don't have any forum members with connections to the plant.
The cancellation of the tours was a very minor inconvenience to me, as all I had to do was to make a couple of phone calls, emails, and online cancellations.
For some people, it actually cost them some money as they had made special arrangements(time off work, gas money, motels, etc) to visit Bowling Green to tour the plant and didn't receive the notice in time to make their cancellations.
That said, I'm sure that GM didn't do it deliberately. Sometimes s**t happens and there is no way around it.
