So they just realized that the day before? I don't think so.

Not as good as no defects to flag, but better that defects not being flagged.

My email from the plant was sent to me at 4:02PM yesterday. Hard to believe they "planned" to run a super secret Z** down the assembly line at quitting time, for the next day.

PS- I didn't start this thread for political reasons, as some have said. Most of the people reading this section are very interested in what's going on in Bowling Green, so I posted some "new" news. I also asked if anyone with connections at the plant had further information that would explain the sudden cancellation of the tours. No one has replied, so I guess we don't have any forum members with connections to the plant.

The cancellation of the tours was a very minor inconvenience to me, as all I had to do was to make a couple of phone calls, emails, and online cancellations.

For some people, it actually cost them some money as they had made special arrangements(time off work, gas money, motels, etc) to visit Bowling Green to tour the plant and didn't receive the notice in time to make their cancellations.

That said, I'm sure that GM didn't do it deliberately. Sometimes s**t happens and there is no way around it.

Who said you started this thread for political reasons? Can you point to that post for us. Thanks.

Default New paint color

What they are viewing is the new "Patch Work Quilt" limited edition paint scheme. This in lieu of the black and white Zebra paint work seen on the test mules.

That wasn't the case on my tour on 10/11. I saw no cars on the line with mismatched panels.

You understand that the LUGGAGE for that car costs more than a stripped C7, right? The stitching is OUT OF THIS WORLD and the aroma is to die for

Prolly the new cup holder. Broom stick is the new two piece snap together option.

Carbon fiber telescopic featuring gold handle with etched VIN. Clearly you don't even THINK expensive enough to deserve one of those

GM's roll out of the C7 is making the roll out of Obamacare look like perfection.
